Team Descriptions
Absorbing Enemy
Absorbing Enemy are the returning champions and after a month’s break we have to ask will we see them back on top. With their three straight wins into the grand final they smashed through every challenge they faced and came out the victors. They have been rumours of the team not practicing as much after their victory. Will they crash and burn or rise once more like the phoenix, only time will tell.
Bright Assassins
Rumours have been circling of the bots in this team cheating. This may seem crazy to consider seeing as they did lose their first game. However several bot experts have analysed their replays and saw erratic behaviour assumed to be caused from performance enhancing algorithms. In this case it seems that bright assassins created their own demise as this caused several malfunctions within their team. After agreeing to admin checks before each game they have been allowed to return once again.
Disillusioned Warfare
After they placed second the team has been pretty quiet. People speculated that we would see some roster changes. However there has been no news from any of Disillusioned Warfare’s players. In fact no one has spoken to any of their players since they formed. Although it has been leaked that the players have loosed up a little bit after their victory in the February A.I. T.I.
Literate Mafia
Known for their conservative play style and their love of reading.We did not see much of literate mafia last month. Nobody expected them to get very far and although they put up a fight it just was not enough. Drama has been created by their supposed links to the criminal underworld after many critics of the team have disappeared without a trace.Their manager, Johnny “Tight-lips” Cannelloni, had no comment on the issue. All that is known for sure about this team after they won the January A.I. T.I. there seemed to be a haze of distrust among the community weather it was a bribed victory or not.
Possible Exterminators
Everyone knows that Possible Exterminators taking spooky butchers out first round was a huge morale boost to the team. Their long standing rivalry has been coming to a boil for some point now and it seemed at one point that Possible Exterminators beat them so hard that it broke their team morale as well as their roster. After causing a rift in Spooky Butchers possible exterminators look to make this possibility a certainty and will end it once and for all. And if they happen to win the tournament well that’s just dandy.
Remarkable Forces
Although their name may strike you as heavy hitters they did end up going out in round one. A heavy burden to bear when the chants of USA turn to boo’s instead. They are looking to turn this around and bring home the glory to the good ol’ U S OF A.
Spooky Butchers
Known for their radical “All in balls to the wall” strategy. After their poor performance last month their “All the meat you can eat” sponsorship was pulled from the table, this created some infighting within the team. There are rumours of their team disbanding if another knock out in round one happens again. With everything to fight for its time for the Butchers to win or die.
Striped Sharpshooters
Sniper pickers, nothing more to say...except that they managed to pull out a victory in the December A.I. T.I.
